“it allowed for a developed understanding of performing arts and its context”
Internal
All of Arts Inform’s own projects are rigorously evaluated. Because most of our projects set out to pilot new models of working, our evaluations have a critical role to play in helping us to understand what has worked well and how other aspects could be improved. Some of our projects, such as Architects in Residence, have gone through several cycles of testing and evaluation before the model has been finalised. Typically internal evaluations will involve a team of Arts Inform staff and a data analyst. Occasionally we may also appoint an overview committee to check and comment on our work.
External
As well as thoroughly evaluating our own projects we undertake evaluations for other companies and are experienced in creating bespoke models, specially tailored to suit the individual project. Typically a team of staff and consultants, consisting of the Director or Deputy Director, a researcher and a data analyst from Arts Inform will contribute to each evaluation. Recent evaluations include:
- Student Theatre Goers Evaluation Report
- Evaluation of Royal Albert Hall Partner School Scheme 2004-2008
