The quality of the built environment is a hotly debated contemporary issue. Space and the River aimed to involve young people in urban planning, Students from 4 London schools were asked to devise a brief and, with the support of model-makers, build models for a proposed development on the Thames riverbank. An exhibition of student work was held at Shakespeare's Globe.
