arsenal new stadium (2)

Recently, various architect-designed buildings have had the effect of supporting and providing a focus for the regeneration of the city or locality in which they are situated. The Guggenheim at Bilbao is a famous example. In this country the Wilkinson Eyre Bridge in Gateshead, the Eden project in Cornwall, and in London the Peckham Library are some examples. With this in mind students are asked to make a proposal in the form of a model for a new Arsenal Stadium. They will work as a group in a three-day workshop with Alsops Architects and an artist.
